About these terms
These terms apply when you use the Yammas website, make a booking with us or attend the restaurant. Yammas is located at 72–74 High Street, Beckenham, BR3 1ED. Contact us at info@yammas.uk or 020 3827 4120.
Bookings
Bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you receive confirmation from us or our booking provider, currently Dojo. Please check the date, time, party size and any booking-specific terms shown before confirming.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact details and telling us promptly if anything changes. We may contact you with service messages needed to manage your booking.
Deposits, cancellations and no-shows
Some bookings, events or larger groups may require a deposit or card guarantee. The amount, payment deadline, cancellation window and any refund conditions will be shown during booking or confirmed directly to you. Those booking-specific conditions form part of these terms.
Please cancel or amend as early as possible through the booking link or by contacting us. Where a disclosed cancellation, late-cancellation or no-show charge applies, we may retain a deposit or charge the card provided in accordance with the terms accepted when booking.
Menus, prices and availability
Menus, ingredients, prices, opening times, performers and event details may change. We try to keep website information accurate, but availability cannot always be guaranteed. Unless stated otherwise, prices include VAT. Any discretionary service charge will be clearly shown or explained.
Allergies and dietary requirements
Please tell us about allergies or dietary requirements before ordering and, where possible, when booking. We take reasonable care, but our kitchen handles multiple allergens and we cannot promise a completely allergen-free environment. Speak to a member of the team for the most current ingredient and preparation information.
Alcohol and responsible service
Alcohol is available only to guests aged 18 or over. We may ask for acceptable proof of age and may refuse alcohol service or entry where required for safety, licensing or legal reasons. We encourage responsible drinking.
Events and offers
Special menus, bottomless sittings, live music, promotions and events may have additional conditions, time limits or exclusions. These will be shown on the relevant page, advertisement or booking journey. Offers cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be combined unless we say otherwise.
Conduct at the restaurant
Guests must behave respectfully towards staff, performers, neighbours and other guests. We may refuse entry or ask someone to leave where behaviour is unsafe, unlawful, abusive, disruptive or likely to affect others’ enjoyment. This does not affect any rights you have under consumer law.
Our website and third-party services
You may use this website for personal, lawful purposes. Its content belongs to Yammas or is used with permission and must not be copied or exploited commercially without permission.
Links to services such as Dojo, maps, Instagram or other platforms are provided for convenience. Those services have their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, Yammas is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for events outside our reasonable control.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we use personal information, including booking data and consent-based email or SMS marketing.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms when our services or legal requirements change. The version in force when you make a booking will apply to that booking. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
